Financial Manager (Ref 4/18/0167)

Marl are wishing to employ an additional Financial Manager.

This is an excellent job opportunity for an experienced Financial Manager preferably with manufacturing experience to join our team. The successful candidate should be able to apply a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role as well as offer peer to peer guidance and support where appropriate.

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ experience

Principle Responsibilities

  • Manage the Accounts Department
  • Produce the profit / loss account, balance sheet, trial balance and management accounts on a month end and year-end basis
  • Balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow forecasting
  • Managing Project Finance
  • Close down ledgers, month and year end
  • Monthly bank account reconciliation
  • Provide financial information and reports as required
  • Monitor and report company cash flow
  • Administration of the invoice finance accounts
  • Oversee the annual financial audit
  • Liaise with company bankers and auditors
  • Produce, implement and monitor the annual budget
  • Identify cost savings and reduce overheads
  • Produce monthly EC Sales Reports and Intrastat Reports
  • Responsibility for producing VAT Returns
  • Authorise supplier payments
