Winners – St Mary’s Hospice Charity Golf Day
Helping to raise over £7000 for St Mary’s Hospice here in Ulverston, the MARL team (this year’s participants: Sam Fletcher, Josh Ollett, Michael Tinmouth and Tony Fox) were thrilled to not only take part in the Charity Golf Day this year but to also beat Grasmere Gingerbread to the proud position of 1st place.
The competition was held at Barrow Golf Course and organised by Dave Howarth of Dunnerholme Golf Course.
The Hospice is deeply valued by the local community, where staff and volunteers provide free-of-charge care and comfort for patients living with life-shortening illnesses and long-term conditions.
