Reliable and reusable — Marl's LED Bulkhead

MARL's LED Bulkheads are ideal for a variety of applications, whether at the end of a track in a train station or on a rail line, in a warehouse as a traffic light system, or providing safety lighting.

In 2020 we have seen the LED Bulkhead used as a Covid safe traffic light system  at a small shop in the Lake District utilising red and green LED lighting and operated by staff from a switch behind the counter enabling staff and customers to have a safe interaction.  Originally designed with high intensity red LED output for use as a buffer stop warning lamp, but creative customers have since asked us to make them in a variety of colours including white, amber, green and blue.  

The extremely reliable 084 Series LED Bulkhead provides up to 100,000 hours of continuous use, operates from mains supplies with lower voltage options available, has a tough ruggedised housing and ingress protection to IP65 standard. As a direct replacement in many existing electrical circuits, the bulkhead is a fit and forget solution to many rail and industrial applications.
